New Generation Maruti Swift: Maruti Suzuki India Limited is going to launch many new models in the coming years. The Toyota Innova Hycross-based Maruti Engage MPV is expected to arrive before this Diwali season. Whereas by February 2024, New Generation Swift and April-May 2024 will launch New Generation DZire.
How will the engine be?
Both the new generation Maruti Swift and Dzire models are expected to come with improved design, upmarket interiors and more fuel efficient powertrains. Although the company has not yet revealed the details of the new 2024 Maruti Swift and DZire, these cars are likely to get a new 1.2L, 3-cylinder petrol engine with Toyota’s strong hybrid technology.
will get more mileage
According to media reports, the new Swift and DZire will get more mileage than all the existing cars. Both will get ARAI-certified mileage of around 35-40kmpl. Its new strong hybrid powertrain will meet CAFÉ II (Corporate Average Fuel Economy) norms. The lower variants of the 2024 Maruti Swift and DZire will continue to be available with the existing 1.2L Dualjet petrol engine and CNG options. It will continue to get 5-speed manual and AMT transmission.

The interior of both these cars can be given the new Smartplay Pro + touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, OTA updates and Suzuki voice assist. The new 2024 Maruti Swift is expected to get new front grille, sleek headlamps with new LED elements, updated front bumper, faux air vents, wheel arches, blacked-out pillars, roof mounted spoiler and many more new changes.

This car will compete with Tata Altroz. In which a 1.2L Revotron engine is available. It has diesel, petrol and CNG fuel options.
