Next year in India, two big car companies like Maruti Suzuki and Tata Motors are preparing to bring new CNG cars for the car users. These upcoming CNG cars will be more powerful than the existing CNG cars and will also have SUV options. In these, people are eagerly waiting for Maruti Brezza CNG as well as Tata Nexon CNG and Tata Punch CNG.

Maruti Suzuki has the largest number of CNG cars in India. It has been heard for a long time that soon Maruti Brezza can be introduced in CNG avatar, but no official statement has come from the company. Now it is coming out in media reports that Brezza CNG can be introduced next year and its starting price can be around Rs 9 lakh. Some time back Maruti Suzuki has introduced two of its best selling cars Baleno and Swift with factory fitment CNG kit and they are selling well.

Tata Motors is all set to expand the portfolio of CNG cars in India soon. While the Tata Punch could be introduced in a CNG avatar in the micro SUV segment, the best selling SUV in the sub-4 meter compact SUV segment, the Nexon, could also be offered with a factory fitted CNG kit. Tata Motors may also introduce its premium hatchback Altroz with a factory fitted CNG kit. At present, talking about the possible price of Tata’s upcoming CNG cars, Tata Nexon CNG can be launched at an initial price of Rs 8.5 lakh and Tata Punch CNG can be launched at an initial price of up to Rs 7 lakh.
