In an interview with Avto.Mail.Ru, Chevrolet Communications Director in Russia Alexei Agureyev confirmed that the UzAuto Motors plant located in Uzbekistan has recently released the first two cars of the new Chevrolet Tracker model, which will be sold in Russia.
I am glad to inform you that the production of the Tracker 2 car will begin in July next year at the Asaka plant. Just the other day, during the pre-production preparation, the plant assembled two cars. Currently, the plant of JSC “UzAuto Motors” is working on setting up the production of Chevrolet Tracker in a full cycle: stamping, welding, painting, assembly. Chevrolet Tracker has dimensions of 4270 x 1791 x 1627 mm with a wheelbase of 2570 mm. The car is equipped with a 6-speed automatic transmission and a turbocharged three-cylinder Ecotec engine with 125 hp. with a consumption of 5.5 liters per 100 km in the combined cycle.
