Triton says that bookings for this scooter will start by the end of this month. Triton Electric Vehicles has announced that it is going to start taking bookings for its hydrogen electric scooters and three-wheelers by the end of this month.
Looking at the bigger picture, the road ahead is clear in India for clean energy and clean mobility and the Indian government hopes that green hydrogen is the fuel of the future and the government aims to make India a global hub for green hydrogen.
In line with this vision of the Government of India, the adoption and development of hydrogen-powered vehicles can be expected in the coming days. Unlike plug in electric vehicles, hydrogen-powered electric vehicles use cryogenic tanks to store hydrogen.
Which is used to power a hydrogen fuel cell and usually takes only 4-5 minutes to fill up. This saves valuable time and is a major feature of hydrogen-powered electric vehicles. For example, Triton’s hydrogen-powered electric scooter is claimed to have a fueling time of 4 minutes and a range of 175 kms.
Commenting on the occasion Himanshu Patel, Founder & MD, Triton Electric Vehicles said, “The scooter designs we are introducing today are made after rigorous research and development work and are designed according to Indian traffic conditions.”
He further added that these scooters are designed to ensure the safety of the passengers. These scooter designs are safe even for kids.
