Must read these 5 things before using Airtel-Jio 5G services, there will be no problem later

New Delhi. 5G services have started in India. As of now, Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio have rolled out 5G services in select cities in India. 5G technology is expected to deliver ten times better download speed and three times more spectrum efficiency than 4G. Now that everyone is going to get 5G service soon, then here we are giving you information about 5 things that you should know before using this service.

What will be the 5G speed in India:

According to reports, mobile subscribers will be given 600 megabits per second speed in the 5G network during the launch phase. This will be because the load on the network will be less in the initial phase. At the same time, when this rollout is completed, then the speed of 200-300 mbps will be given. This simply means that you will be able to download a two-hour high definition movie which is about 6 GB in 1 minute 25 seconds. At the same time, you will be able to download 4K movies at a top speed of 600 Mbps in about 3 minutes.

Which cities in India will get 5G?

Airtel and Jio have started 5G services in some cities. Airtel has currently launched 5G service in 8 cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Varanasi and Bangalore. While Jio has started 5G services in four cities – Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and Varanasi on the occasion of Dussehra. Telecom Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that the government is working to launch 5G in 200 cities in the next six months. But later he updated that 600 cities would be covered in the next six months. At the same time, it may take a few years to roll out 5G service across the country.

Will the user have to change the SIM card?
Both Airtel and Jio have said that their existing SIMs will work on 5G phones. It has also been said that 4G SIM can work in 5G enabled phones but the user will not get the full capability of 5G. To get the most out of the 5G network, you will be given a 5G SIM with the 5G phone later.

How will the 5G network be:
According to some reports, users will have to be near cellular towers to enjoy 5G services to the fullest. In such a situation, the location of the towers will become important for the complete services of 5G. If you’re not near a tower, you might not get that much speed.

5G Data Plan Prices:

Indian telecom operators have not yet made any announcement regarding 5G plans in India. However, Jio has announced a free welcome offer for its 5G services. Whereas Airtel has also said that 5G services will be available at the current 4G rates. The new tariff for 5G will be announced later.
