According to Rossiyskaya Gazeta, BAIC has published prices for the cars presented today on its official Russian website.
It is worth recognizing that the BAIC brand turned out to be noticeably more attractive than Moskvich in terms of pricing, although in fact Moskvich 3 is also a Chinese crossover company JAC. Recall that the starting price of Moskvich 3 is almost 2 million rubles, although now there are discounts on the model.
Model BAIC U5 Plus starts at 1,699,900 rubles, and BAIC X35 will cost from 1,698,900 rubles. In addition, the BJ40 Plus SUV, which has not yet been officially announced, was valued at 3,759,900 rubles.
Recall, “Avtotor” started production of BAIC vehicles, parts for which will be made in Russia. BAIC X35 and BAIC U5 Plus are initially produced on the basis of a welded and painted body with partial localization of the first level components. Starting next year, full-cycle production will be carried out, with welding and painting of bodies.
Sales of cars BAIC X35 and BAIC U5 Plus in Russia will begin in the second quarter of this year.
