MSI Unveils First In-House Switched Keyboard

Continuing to expand its line of gaming equipment, MSI has unveiled a keyboard with proprietary switches at CES 2022.

MSI Vigor GK71 Sonic uses Sonic Red mechanical switches. They are linear switches with an actuation force of just 35g, making them one of the most easily switchable switches on the market.

Vigor K71 Sonic’s switch bodies and bottom caps are transparent for better RGB lighting. The keyboard comes with a wrist rest. The standard layout is complemented by multimedia keys and a volume control wheel and multimedia functions. The keyboard case is made of aluminum. Up to three presets can be stored in the built-in memory. The keyboard should go on sale in February for an estimated price of $ 110-120.

At the same time, the Vigor GK50 keyboard is presented without a block of numeric keys. It takes up less desk space and fits easily in your bag. This keyboard uses Kailh White low-profile mechanical switches with audible feedback. The USB cable is removable. The keyboard comes with a drawstring bag. It also features RGB lighting compatible with MSI’s Mystic Light control system. The model is slated to begin shipping later this year for an MSRP of $ 85.
