MSI introduced the MEG 271Q Mini LED gaming monitor, the main feature of which is in the name. This is a miniature LED backlight that allows for high contrast due to local dimming. There are more than 1000 LEDs in total, and the backlighting is divided into more than 500 zones. According to MSI, this is the first mini-LED backlit monitor designed for esports.
The monitor supports Nvidia G-Sync Ultimate adaptive sync technology and Nvidia Reflex latency estimation technology. The maximum refresh rate is 300 Hz, and the response time is declared equal to 1 ms. The base of the monitor is a 27-inch Rapid IPS panel with WQHD resolution that is 2560 x 1440 pixels. The monitor covers 97% of the DCI-P3 color space and is VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certified.
