The Bullitt Group in partnership with Motorola has introduced the Motorola Defy 2, a new rugged smartphone with satellite messaging. This smartphone will be sold in North America, Canada and Latin America. This phone provides two-way satellite messaging service. This phone supports 5G connectivity. Talking about the price, the Motorola Defy 2 is priced at $599 (roughly Rs. 49,600). Talking about availability, this phone will be available for sale in North America, Latin America and Canada from the third quarter of 2023. According to the company, buyers will also have the SOS Assist feature for 12 months. The SOS Assist feature gives users 24-hour access to FocusPoint International’s Emergency Response Centers for 1 year, while messaging plans will start at $4.99 (roughly Rs. 400) per month.
Motorola Defy Satellite Link is priced at $99 (roughly Rs. 8,200). This satellite link will go on sale at international retailers from April 2023. Customers can buy a 12-month Essential Messaging subscription plan that includes 30 two-way messages and SOS Assist, priced at $149 (roughly Rs. 12,400).
