Motorola’s new product roadmap for 2022 leaked online

According to online sources, the brand’s smartphone family is expected to expand significantly this year. A fresh insider report revealed a list of expected new products with approximate dates for their presentations.

Motorola Dubai

It is expected that already in early April, Motorola Edge 30, codenamed Dubai, will enter the market. The device is credited with a 6.55-inch pOLED display with Full HD + resolution and a refresh rate of 144 Hz, a Snapdragon 778G + processor, 6/8 GB of RAM and a 128/256 GB drive. It is reported that the gadget has a 32-megapixel front camera and a main camera with sensors of 50, 50 and 2 megapixels. The estimated battery capacity is 4020 mAh.

Another expected novelty of the brand is the Motorola Edge 30 Frontier (or Ultra). Insiders suggest that the smartphone will debut in the third quarter of 2022, and it may be the first commercial device on the market based on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ mobile platform.

Motorola Edge 30 Pro

The Motorola Edge 30 Lite (Miami) will reportedly feature a 6.28-inch pOLED (Full HD+, 120Hz), Snapdragon 695 chip, 6GB or 8GB of RAM, and 128GB or 256GB storage. The smartphone will have a 32 megapixel front camera, as well as a dual rear camera (64 + 13 megapixels) and a 4020 mAh battery. The latter characteristic will reduce the thickness of the device case to about 7 mm.

Another model called Dubai + will receive a new MediaTek MT6879 chip. It will have the same screen and cameras as the other Edge 30s, a bigger 5,000mAh battery, and stylus support like the Edge 30 Pro. The exact name of the model has not yet been announced. It will probably be released in the third quarter of the year after the Edge 30 Ultra.
