Motorola, one of the big smartphone companies, may soon launch its next foldable smartphone series. The design and specifications of the Motorola Razr 40 included in this series have been leaked online. This smartphone can have an external display with two outer cameras. This display is bigger than the current foldable smartphones of Samsung and Oppo.
This week the company posted a video showing two foldable smartphones was indicated. These could be Motorola Razr 40 Ultra and Razr 40. The company has informed about the international launch of the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra flip smartphone on June 1. Along with this, it can also introduce its lower variant Motorola Razr 40. Tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore (@Sudhanshu1414) has claimed that the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra could be priced around $1,000 (roughly Rs. 82,600). In comparison, the Oppo Find N2 Flip was launched at £849 (roughly Rs. 87,300) and the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 at $999 (roughly Rs. 82,400).
The design of Motorola Razr 40 Ultra has also been leaked. It can be made available in Black, Blue and Red colours. The smartphone could be powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. In this, 6.9 inch FHD + pOLED and 3.4 inch OLED display can be given in inner and outer display. The Motorola smartphone is likely to sport a 12-megapixel + 13-megapixel dual camera unit along with a 32-megapixel front camera for selfies.
The company has informed about the launch of the first smartphone of its Edge 40 series in India on 23 May. This smartphone was introduced in Europe last month. Before its launch in the country, the company has given a teaser of some of its specifications. Motorola Edge 40 can be purchased through Flipkart. This smartphone is being confirmed to have MediaTek Dimensity 8020 SoC on Flipkart’s microsite. It will have a metal frame and a back panel in vegan leather. The company claims that it is the slimmest 5G smartphone with IP68 rating. It is in the lower segment than the company’s flagship Edge 40 Pro.
