Motorola Edge 50 Series Set for Global Launch on April 16th 2024,  Motorola is gearing up to launch its entire Edge 50 series – including the Edge 50 Pro, Edge 50 Fusion, and the highly anticipated Edge 50 Ultra – in the global market on April 16th.

Edge 50 Ultra: Powerhouse Performance

The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra has recently been spotted on Geekbench, hinting at its impressive specs. It’s expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC paired with 12GB of RAM. The listing also suggests the phone will run on the latest Android 14 operating system. Based on the benchmark scores (1,947 single-core and 5,149 multi-core), the Edge 50 Ultra promises exceptional performance. Additionally, the listing reveals a maximum clock speed of 3.01 GHz for the chipset.

More on the Edge 50 Series

While details about the Edge 50 Fusion are yet to be revealed, the company has already launched the Edge 50 Pro in India. This phone boasts a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC. It comes in three color options: Luxe Lavender, Moonlight Pearl, and Black.

Pricing and Availability (India Specific)

The Motorola Edge 50 Pro launched in India earlier this month with two variants:

  • 8GB RAM + 256GB storage (with 68W charger): Rs 31,999
  • 12GB RAM + 256GB storage (with 125W charger): Rs 35,999

Motorola offered initial launch discounts, bringing the base variant down to Rs 27,999 and the 12GB variant to Rs 31,999. Additionally, customers could avail exchange offers, discounts on specific credit cards and EMI transactions, and no-cost EMI options on Flipkart.

Software and Display (Edge 50 Pro)

The Edge 50 Pro runs on Motorola’s My UX interface based on Android 14. Motorola promises three OS upgrades and four years of security updates for this phone. It features a large 6.7-inch 1.5K pOLED curved display with a smooth 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 2,000 nits.

This revised version combines information about the global launch of the Edge 50 series with details about the already launched Edge 50 Pro in India. It also improves the structure and flow of the text.
