In addition to the insider information about the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion and Pro smartphones, details about the Ultra variant have surfaced online: it was showcased in a series of high-quality renders featuring several body colors. Concurrently, the GSMArena portal disclosed some of the device’s technical specifications.
Based on the images, the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra will feature a curved display, a metal frame, and come in three body colors: black with a leather texture, beige with a metallic pattern, and peach with a matte surface. The latter color option was previously recognized as the color of the year by Pantone.
The new camera setup will comprise three modules. According to the GSMArena portal, these include a main sensor with OIS and laser autofocus, an ultra-wide lens (equivalent focal length of 12 mm), and a “periscope” lens with 3x optical zoom.
Furthermore, the device is rumored to boast a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor and the new Hello UI Android skin. The speculated price of the new product is $999. The presentation of the Motorola Edge 50 series of smartphones is scheduled for April 3.
