Moto S50 Neo to Launch on June 25 with 50MP Camera and 5000mAh Battery, Offering 4-Year Warranty

Motorola’s new smartphone, the Moto S50 Neo, is set to launch in China on June 25. This phone is unique as it will come with a 4-year warranty. This warranty includes a 1-year standard warranty and a 3-year complimentary extended warranty, making it the first smartphone to offer such an extensive warranty period. Previously, some smartphones have offered warranties of 2 or even 3 years, but this is the first to offer 4 years.

Global Release and Warranty Details

The company has not yet disclosed how users can avail themselves of the 4-year warranty for the Motorola S50 Neo. Additionally, the phone will be launched globally as the Moto G85 5G. However, it is unlikely that the Moto G85 5G will include the same 4-year warranty.

Specifications of Moto S50 Neo

The Moto S50 Neo features a 6.6-inch OLED display with a curved edge and FullHD Plus resolution, offering a 120Hz refresh rate. For security, the phone includes an in-display fingerprint scanner. While the specific processor has not been disclosed, it is expected to feature a midrange Snapdragon chipset.

The phone is equipped with a 5000mAh battery and supports 33W fast charging. It boasts a slim design with a thickness of just 7.59mm.

Camera and Operating System

In terms of the camera, the Moto S50 Neo will have a dual-camera setup on the rear, including a 50-megapixel main lens. For selfies, the phone will have a 32-megapixel front camera. It will run on Android 14 and will be available in black, green, and blue colors.
