Most billionaires in Asia region in Forbes real-time billionaires list, you will be surprised to know the number

Forbes Real Time Billionaires List: According to the Forbes ‘Real-Time Billionaires List’ by Nikki Asia, the US ranks first with 719 billionaires and China second with 440. There are 161 billionaires in India. The Association of Southeast Asian Nations has a total of 114 billionaires in 10 member countries, compared to 45 in Taiwan, 28 in South Korea and 27 in Japan. A region-by-sector analysis of wealth owned by more than 2,400 people put it at $4.7 trillion in North America, $3.5 trillion in Asia, and $2.4 trillion in Europe.

With 950 billionaires, Asia surpasses all other regions
The report said on Tuesday that when it comes to the number of billionaires by region, the number of all other regions in Asia now stands at 951. There are 777 billionaires in North America and 536 in Europe.

Emerging countries are now producing more billionaires than Europe, while Asian billionaires are also facing some adverse effects such as a fall in stock prices and a rally in the dollar. The number of people on Forbes’ real-time billionaires list declined by 245 in about six months, compared to 126 for Asians compared to 27 North Americans, the report said.

According to the IIFL Wealth Hurun India Rich List 2022, 60-year-old Gautam Adani, the world’s second richest person in India, leads the country’s rich list with a net worth of Rs 10,94,400 crore. Adani topped the list adding Rs 1,600 crore per day over the previous year.

Adani’s assets have more than doubled (116 per cent) in the last one year and have added Rs 5,88,500 crore in total. In the last five years, the wealth of the first generation entrepreneur has increased by 1440 per cent.
