Modern electric vehicles are not afraid of frost -30 ° C: Weimar M7 2022 passed the freezing test

Last fall, Weimar Motor officially announced the Weimar M7 2022 electric car, which was tested at an air temperature of -30 ° C. Today, such a test is becoming more and more popular. It shows how the car is suitable for use in our latitudes.

According to official data, thanks to the distributed architecture battery thermal management system, the Weimar M7 2022 consumes only 17 kWh per 100 km at this temperature.

The M7 air conditioning system is specially optimized for extreme hot and cold weather. During the test, the temperature in the car interior was maintained in a comfortable temperature range of about 22°C for the head and 33°C for the legs. At an air temperature of -30 °C, this comfortable cabin temperature can be reached in 17 minutes. The energy consumption of the Weimar M7 2022 air conditioning system is only 3% under normal conditions, and rises to 10% in extremely hot and cold conditions.
