Many gamers were waiting with interest for the release of Payday 3. Unfortunately, the game failed – and Starbreeze Studios, as it turned out, does not forgive mistakes.
The other day it became known that the board of directors of Starbreeze fired the head of the company, Tobias Sögren. He worked there for only three years. The decisive factor was the unsuccessful premiere of the third Payday, whose performance was much lower than expected – in the future the company intends to improve the effectiveness of games for its key brands.
Starbreeze Studios is currently searching for a new CEO. For now, Jürgen Geldner, a true industry veteran who previously served as head of Focus Home Interactive, has been appointed interim CEO.
