An incident of theft took place in a house late night in Gagalhedi police station area of Saharanpur. According to the information, three miscreants entered the house and tried to threaten and rob the family. The victim Rajkumar told that the miscreants pointed a revolver at his temple and also tried to take other family members present in the house hostage.
When noise was raised during the incident, people from the neighborhood gathered. With the help of people, two miscreants present in the house were caught and beaten severely, while another one managed to escape. The arrested criminals have been identified as Farid and Salim. Both the miscreants are said to be residents of Mandi police station area. Police were called on the spot and both the miscreants were handed over.
One pistol and four live cartridges recovered
Police said that a pistol and four live cartridges have been recovered from the miscreants. The injured miscreants were taken to the hospital for treatment. The third criminal is said to be Savage, he is absconding and the police is busy searching for him. Due to the vigilance of the landlord and neighbors during the incident, the culprits were successfully caught. The police are now conducting raids to catch the absconding criminal. The incident is said to have happened around 1:00 in the night and further investigation is going on in this matter.

When there was commotion the neighbors came. Meanwhile, one miscreant ran away and two were caught. After being beaten by the people, the police took both the miscreants to the hospital.
Meanwhile, SP City Vyom Bindal said that three people entered Rajkumar’s house in Nawada area under Bagalhedi police station and tried to steal. With the help of the people nearby, they were controlled and the police was immediately informed. As soon as the information was received, the police immediately reached the spot and two of them, one named Farid and the other named Salim, were caught. A pistol and four cartridges were recovered from them. The remaining one ran away.
