Minisforum has released a Windows gaming tablet with a powerful AMD processor

The new product, called Minisforum V3, received powerful hardware and a large screen with an “esports” refresh rate. In addition, the tablet is capable of working as a portable monitor and has a decent set of up-to-date interfaces.

Minisforum V3 is “packed” in a magnesium alloy case and is equipped with a 14-inch touch screen (2560 x1600 pixels) with a refresh rate of 165 Hz, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage and a maximum backlight brightness of 500 cd/m². The gadget’s hardware platform includes an 8-core AMD Ryzen 7 8840U processor, 32 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD drive.

The tablet’s cooling system includes two fans and four heat pipes. A 50.82 Wh battery with support for fast 65-watt charging is responsible for autonomy. On the body of the device there is a fingerprint scanner, two USB 4 Type-C ports, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, an SD memory card slot and a VLink connector (USB Type-C) with DisplayPort function for using the device as a monitor.

The list of model characteristics is complemented by an acoustic system of four speakers, as well as Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 modules. The pre-installed Minisforum VSpace utility allows you to configure the processor power consumption mode: economical (15 W), balanced (15-28 W) and productive (28 W). The weight of the device is 946 grams, thickness – 9.8 mm.

The tablet is already on sale in China at a price of $960 with a complete keyboard.
