MiG-23 fighters will be restored in the USA for future flights

According to one of the owners of the company, these fighters were in service with the Polish Air Force, but were then decommissioned, despite their good condition. American businessmen intend to restore them and prepare them for flights.

It is also reported that right now, the Unknown Aircraft Company has 15 MiG-23 fighters, 8 of which are planned to be “restored and raised into the air” within several years. Moreover, the first of them should begin flights as early as 2022.

Recall that for the first time MiG-23 came to the United States from Egypt in the mid-70s of the XX century. Then Cairo handed over to the Americans at least 12 aircraft of the MiG-23MS and MiG-23BN modifications.
