Microsoft wants to train 2 million residents of India in skills related to artificial intelligence

Company Microsoft intends to mass educate the residents of India on technologies related to artificial intelligence.

 

The company reported that by 2025 it wants to train skills related to AI to 2 million residents of India. The ADVANTA(I)GE INDIA initiative is part of the Microsoft Skills for Jobs program, created with the aim of expanding India’s workforce. This initiative, in turn, is part of a broader program by Microsoft to accelerate the transformation of the artificial intelligence market in the country.

The initiative will be focused primarily on three key areas of AI: upgrading the qualifications of officials in the field of AI, equipping future workers and working on the creation of artificial intelligence capabilities in non-commercial organizations.
