Microsoft has officially released its proprietary browser on Linux

For those already using pre-release versions of Edge on Linux, you can get the latest stable release through the command sudo apt install microsoft-edge-stable… In addition, installation is possible via site Microsoft.

The Verge notes that many Linux users are already using Chrome or Firefox, but Edge is another browser option that may work on distributions where Chrome is not fully supported. Microsoft has also added privacy features to Edge to limit tracking and cookies. The Linux version of the browser has most of the same features that are available in the Windows and macOS versions.
