Fully obeying worldly wisdom “to make a person good, do him bad at first, and then return it as it was”, Microsoft returns the clock to the taskbar of the second monitor (and subsequent ones too) in Windows 11. The simplest and most convenient feature implemented in Windows 10, for some reason disappeared from Windows 11, and users even had to install third-party applications like ElevenClock… But soon it won’t be needed anymore.
An old new feature is being tested in the next Windows 11 update in the Windows Insiders channel. Hence, in the custom version, the clock will return to the second monitor’s taskbar after about a couple of months.
Another new feature in Windows 11 that may be useful for users is the new options for displaying the Start menu: you can pin more applications to it or display more recommendations (compared to the base option).
Finally, Microsoft continues to experiment with populating the Settings menu. Apparently, the company plans to completely abandon the Control Panel – it will be completely replaced by the Settings menu.
