The police have taken strict action for creating communal frenzy in the procession in Mhow after India’s victory in the Champions Trophy in Mhow, Madhya Pradesh. Collector Ashish Singh has put Rasuka (NSA) on two accused of Mhow nuisance. Under the provisions of the National Security Act 1980, orders have been issued to arrest both the accused and send them to jail.
Collector of Indore (Rural) Ashish Singh has taken strict steps to maintain law and order. According to the report given by the Superintendent of Police, Sohail father Sahid Qureshi and Ejaz father Mohammad Rafiq Khan were constantly involved in criminal activities. Sohail Qureshi is a resident of Duck Mohalla, Mhow, while Ejaz Khan was currently living in Kanchan Vihar Khan Colony, Mhow.
In the report, the activities of these two persons were described as a threat to public peace and security. In view of this, the Collector has ordered to arrest these persons and send them to jail under the provisions of the National Security Act 1980. The purpose of this action is to maintain peace and security in the area and give a strong message to criminal elements that no compromise will be made with law and order.
The accused were stoned to obstruct the procession with brick stones, with the intention of spoiling communal harmony with their colleagues, in one opinion at the Moti Mahal intersection. Due to which people were hurt and communal harmony was destroyed. On the procession going out after winning the Champions Trophy 2025 finals, some people abused the common people and stoned with brick stone conspired and tried to spoil the communal atmosphere.
Both the accused are active in the crime world. Cases have been registered in various criminal cases like giving vulgar abuses against them, threatening to kill and killing them, damaging communal frenzy, breach of rioting, breach of folk system. Action has been taken against the actions of the region to affect the public system of the region and to maintain peace and law and order in the district under Rasuka.
