MG Motor, which entered the country’s automobile market a few years ago, has increased the prices of its Hector, Gloster and Astor SUVs. The company launched a new version of the Hector SUV a few months back. It is the best selling model of the company. The prices of these SUVs have been increased by up to Rs 61,000.
a media Report As per reports, the price of the Hector SUV has been hiked up to a maximum of Rs 61,000. Its price starts from Rs. 15 lakh (ex-showroom). The price of its diesel variants has increased more. The top variant of the Hector SUV will be available for Rs 22.12 lakh (ex-showroom). The company has also introduced a new Shine variant of it. It is available with both petrol and diesel engines. Its price ranges between Rs 16.34 lakh to Rs 18.59 lakh (ex-showroom). The British automobile company has increased the price of its largest SUV Gloster by up to Rs 60,000. The price of its 2 WD version has increased the most. However, the company has not changed the prices of the 4WD version. MG Gloster will be priced between Rs 38.08 lakh to Rs 39.60 lakh (ex-showroom).
MG Astor, the country’s first compact SUV launched with ADAS feature, has got a price hike of up to Rs 41,000. Its price will be between Rs 10.82 lakh to Rs 18.69 lakh (ex-showroom). Last month MG Motor Comet EV was launched. Its booking has started from May 15. It is being said to be the most affordable electric car in the country. 11,000 will have to be paid to book it. It will be available in three variants. Its starting price is Rs 7.98 lakh (ex-showroom). The company has told that this initial price is for 5,000 bookings.
Comet EV has a range of about 230 km. It has 12 inch steel wheels. Its battery is of 17.3 kWh. It is a two-door, four-seat subcompact hatchback. Its electric motor gives power of 41.42 bhp and torque of 110 Nm. The company has given a 3.3 kWh charger with it. It can fully charge the battery in seven hours. It has two screens of 10.25 inches. One of these is for the instrument cluster and the other for infotainment.
