According to the information, MG Motor India has sold 4,528 units this February, while in the month of February last year, the company had sold a total of 4,329 units. On the other hand, MG Motor has also achieved a growth of 5.16 percent in Month-on-Month sales.
Let us inform that in January 2022, the company has sold a total of 4,306 units and in February 2022 there has been an increase of 222 units. Apart from domestic sales, MG has also started exports. The company has started exporting MG Hector to Nepal from its manufacturing facility in Halol, Gujarat.
The company’s Halol plant has an annual production capacity of 80,000 units and has a strong workforce of 2,500. MG Motor is inspired by its vision of CASE (Connected, Autonomous, Shared and Electric) mobility and has seen many firsts in India by introducing the country’s first internet SUV and India’s first pure electric internet SUV MG ZS EV in the form of MG Hector .
The MG Gloster and MG Astor premium SUVs come with India’s first personal AI assistant and autonomous (Level 2) technology. The MG ZS EV has sold around 4,000 units since its launch almost two years ago.
With the growing popularity of electric vehicles in India, the company is all set to introduce the new MG ZS EV facelift. It has been revealed in India before the launch. It is going to come with a bigger battery pack, which will give a longer range than its current model, which is 419 km.
As of now, no electric drive train details have been revealed yet. Currently, the MG ZS EV is powered by a 44.5 kWh hi-tech battery pack that churns out 141 bhp of power and 353 Nm of torque. The facelifted MG ZS EV can get a 50kWh battery and a range of 500 kms.
The new MG ZS EV will also get a feature update. It will be launched with a new front fascia, body colored panels and new 17-inch alloy wheels. It will get LED projector headlamps, integrated with LED DRLs, new front bumper, black body cladding on its sides and new rear bumper design.
Talking about the interiors, it will also see some changes with updated technology, such as a new 10.1-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system, MG’s i-Smart Connected Car Tech with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity and an undated instrument cluster. Huh.
MG Motor India may also offer ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) as seen on the Astor as well. These include features like automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control, etc.
MG Motor India also offers its customers a five-way charging ecosystem, which includes an AC fast charger and a portable in-car charging cable for home or office charging. DC fast charging stations are at company dealerships and 24×7 charge on go facilities in 5 cities besides charging stations in satellite cities and tourist centres.
