Morris Garages (MG Motor) has officially launched the new Blackstorm edition of its popular SUV, the Hector, for sale in the Indian market today. This new Hector Blackstorm Edition is available for sale in three seat configurations: 5-seater, 6-seater, and 7-seater. The company has introduced this SUV in different variants. The starting price of this new Hector Blackstorm has been set at Rs 21.24 lakh (ex-showroom).
How is the new Hector Blackstorm:
The company has introduced the top Sharp Pro variant of the Hector Blackstorm with both petrol and diesel engine options. Additionally, it comes in both Hector and Hector Plus trims. Like its other Blackstorm editions, the company has also launched the Hector with an all-black exterior paint scheme. Red accents and red brake callipers are also provided on the bumper of the SUV.
The company has endeavored to make the cabin of the SUV premium as well. It has been adorned with a sangria and black theme. Furthermore, a package including a 14-inch portrait-style touchscreen infotainment system, climate control, rear AC vents, power driving seat, level-2 Advanced Driving Assistance System (ADAS), digital instrument cluster, and full LED lights is provided.

Power and Performance:
The company has introduced the Hector and Hector Plus Blackstorm Edition with 1.5-liter petrol and 2.0-liter diesel engines. Its petrol engine generates power of 141bhp and torque of 250Nm. It is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission and CVT. Additionally, the diesel engine generates power of 168bhp and torque of 350Nm. This engine is available only with a 6-speed manual transmission.
