MG Comet spotted during testing, will be country’s cheapest electric car

The length of MG Comet EV is only 2.9 meters, in which only two doors have been given. That is, to go to its back seat, the front seat will have to be folded. But due to its wheelbase being more than 2 meters, it is expected to get good space. The Comet EV will sport a boxy look. In this, a wraparound LED DRL and LED headlamp have been given at the front. The biggest attraction inside the cabin is the 10.25-inch dual touch instrument cluster and infotainment system.

how much will be the range

MG Comet EV can get two battery pack options of 20 kWh and 25 kWh. In which range between 200 km to 350 km can be seen. It will get a single electric motor on the front axle, which can generate 68 hp power.

Will be launched next month

The launch of MG Comet EV can happen in April. Although the prices of this car have not been announced yet, but its price is likely to be between Rs. 6 lakh to Rs. 12 lakh.

who will compete

This car will compete with Tata Tiago EV and Citroën EC 3. The Citroën e C3 will be the company’s electric car based on the C3, which can be launched soon. It is likely to get a range of up to 320 km.
