MG Motor has released the teaser of the Comet EV to be launched in India. Please tell that this will be the smallest passenger car in India. Many times this car has been seen during testing.
This is the company’s mini electric car and dual-tone color theme will be given in all its models. Apart from this, a 10-inch touch screen will be given in it. 12-inch steel wheels will be present. The rear of this car will get vertically stacked tail-lamps, high-mounted stop lamps and flat rear bumper.
According to reports, its length is 2.9 meters. It will be a smaller car than the Tata Nano. The company can offer this mini electric car at an initial price of 10 lakhs. Apart from this, two door option will be available in the car. This car is being made in India.
The MG Comet will generate 68 bhp power with either a 20 or 25kWh battery pack. The car will give a range of 300 kilometers on a single charge. This car will compete with Tata Tiago EV and Citroën EC3 in the Indian market.

Two battery options have been given in Tata Tiago EV. There is a 19kWh and 24kWh lithium-ion battery pack capable of delivering a range of 250 and 320 km per charge. Both these batteries can be charged with a 50kW fast charger. This car charges from 10 to 80 percent in 57 minutes.
The Tiago EV gets front airbags, ABS with EBD, reverse camera with dynamic guidelines, i-TMPS, IP67-rated battery pack and motor. The ex-showroom price of this car starts from Rs 8.69 lakh to Rs 11.09 lakh. Let us tell you that this car has got a five star safety rating for safety.

In the Citroën EC3, the company has given a 29.2kWh battery pack, which has an ARAI permit range of 320 km. Capable of charging up to 10-80 percent in just 57 minutes. The company has launched it in the range of Rs 11.50 to Rs 12.43 lakh, which is the ex-showroom price. Its ICE variant is more expensive by Rs 5.5 lakh.
