MG Cars Price Hike: MG gave a big blow to the customers, increased the price of these cars

MG Cars: The facelift version of the MG Hector is to be launched soon. MG Motor India has already released several teasers of the new Hector.

Cars Price Hike: MG has increased the prices of some of its models even before the festive season. The company has increased the prices of its popular SUV Hector and Hector Plus. Earlier recently, MG had also increased the price of the Aster SUV. Right now, MG has increased the prices of Hector and Hector Plus to a maximum of Rs 28,000, whereas earlier the price of Aster was increased by Rs 10,000, taking the price of MG Astor from Rs 10.32 lakh (base variant) to 18.23 lakh. (Top spec variant) up to Rs. All these prices are ex-showroom. Right now the company has increased the prices of Hector SUV by Rs 25,000 to Rs 28,000 depending on the variant. At the same time, the model with their dual tone alloy wheels will have to pay Rs 10,000 more.

It is worth noting that the facelift version of MG Hector is to be launched soon. MG Motor India has already released several teasers of the new Hector. It can be launched during the festive season (possibly in October 2022). The SUV will get a large 14-inch Portrait HD touchscreen infotainment system with next-gen i-Smart technology, which will support wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. It will have a dual-tone interior theme and a 7-inch fully digital configurable instrument cluster. But, even before the launch of this facelift, the company has increased the prices of the existing Hector.

MG Hector and Hector Plus SUVs come with two engine options. These include a 1.5-litre petrol unit that makes 141 Bhp and 250 Nm. It is available with 6-speed manual, CVT or 7-speed DCT. At the same time, the second engine option is a 2.0-litre diesel, which generates 168 Bhp and 350 Nm. It is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.
