Meta has announced two initiatives on the occasion of International Women’s Day. This is part of the company’s CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility). These two initiatives of Facebook (Meta) have been brought keeping women in mind. These initiatives include ‘She Champions Her’ and ‘Pragati’. Meta’s ‘She Champions Her’ initiative has been launched on the company’s photo-sharing platform Instagram. It will be celebrated on a community led by women.
At the same time, Pragati Initiative is part of the company’s CSR activity, which is being run in India. This program will help the Women Entrepreneurs of India.
‘She Champions Her’
The ‘She Champions Her’ campaign has been launched by Meta in partnership with Yuvaa on Instagram. The main goal of this campaign is to protect women in free expression. For this, a content series is being run on social media platforms for a month, which includes 10 women changemakers, pop artists, content creators etc. This campaign of Facebook is being run in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Kolkata.
Meta’s Pragati CSR Initiative was first launched in 2020. This time its second edition is being run. The main goal of this campaign is to help women in Women Entrepreneurship. The last edition of Pragati funded a non-profit organization run by 6 women. In addition, organizational capacity and strategic monitoring were also helped. Both these initiatives of Facebook have been launched to promote women empowerment.
