Luxury carmaker Mercedes-Benz will launch its EQA electric car in India on July 8. With the arrival of this entry-level electric SUV, the German company will have 4 electric models in its Indian portfolio.The EQA arriving here is the facelift model, which was introduced globally in August last year.The Mercedes EQA will get a crossover-like design with sleek headlights, closed grille with signature star pattern, full-width light bar at the front and alloy wheels.
The cabin of the Mercedes EQA gets a star pattern on the dashboard and door trim pieces. The India-spec model will feature a touch-capacitive three-spoke steering wheel, turbine-style air-con vents with ambient lighting.Apart from this, the latest car is expected to get a digital driver display, a 10.25-inch touchscreen running on the latest OS and a Burmester sound system with Dolby Atmos.This sound system has an option to choose from 4 ‘sound experiences’, including ‘Silver Waves’ and ‘Vivid Flux’.
Mercedes has not revealed the battery details of the India-spec EQA. In the international markets, the SUV is available in 4 variants – EQA 250, EQA 250+, EQA 300 4MATIC and EQA 350 4MATIC.The 250+ variant gets a 70.5kWh battery with a range of up to 560 kilometres, while the other variants come with a 66.5kWh battery pack that offers a range of 528 kilometres.It is likely to be priced slightly lower than the EQB, which is currently priced at Rs 77.75 lakh (ex-showroom).
