Shortly after announcing its departure from the mobile market, the company announced a new smartphone called Meizu 21 Pro. In addition to the presentation date, the price of the gadget, which may be the last in the history of the Chinese brand, has also become known.
The premiere of the new product will take place on February 29, 2024. Judging by the official teaser, the starting price of the device will be 5299 yuan (about $735). According to rumors, the smartphone may be presented in a limited edition as a “farewell gift” to users of branded products.
The technical characteristics of the gadget have not yet been announced. Insiders credit it with a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with 2K resolution, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, a 4800 mAh battery with 80-watt fast charging, as well as a triple main camera (50+12+8 megapixels) and a 40-megapixel front camera .
Meizu previously announced that it had stopped developing traditional smartphones to focus on artificial intelligence solutions. It is still unknown which product the company will release first under the new concept.
