As expected, Meizu presented the new flagship smartphone 21 Pro. Like the regular version , it received a number of interesting features, such as a cinematic display and IP68 protection.
Meizu 21 Pro is equipped with a 6.79-inch AMOLED screen with a cinematic aspect ratio of 21:9. Its resolution is 3196×1368 pixels, the brightness reaches 1260 nits, and the frequency is dynamically adjusted up to 120 Hz. The display has a built-in mTouch Max ultrasonic fingerprint scanner with a large reading area. There are also stereo speakers for surround sound.
The hardware platform is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. The smartphone has up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1 TB UFS 4.0 storage. A 5050 mAh battery with support for 80-watt wired, 50-watt wireless and 10-watt reverse charging is responsible for autonomy. The device body is protected from water and dust according to the IP68 standard.
In addition to the main camera with a resolution of 50 megapixels and an f/1.9 lens aperture, there is a 13 megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 10 megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. The screen has a built-in front camera with a resolution of 32 megapixels. At the back there is a proprietary ring flash that doubles as an RGB indicator.
The smartphone runs on proprietary Flyme 10.5 firmware with a large number of AI functions, including editing images and removing unnecessary objects from them. At the same time, Meizu is positioning the new product as a device for enthusiasts and developers to run various AI applications on it.

Apparently, this is the last model of the once popular brand, since it was recently announced that it will discontinue traditional smartphones. Instead, Meizu will focus on artificial intelligence technologies.
