McLaren unveils its supercar 750S, equipped with a very powerful engine

McLaren 750S Unveiled: British supercar manufacturer McLaren Automotive has unveiled its new McLaren 750S in the global market. This model will replace the old 720S. The car will be available in coupe and hardtop convertible body styles. The price of the new 750S will start from $324,000 i.e. around Rs 2.65 crore. This car will come with a very light and powerful engine.

Design

The design of the 750S is similar to the 720 in appearance but it is sharper. This supercar gets attractive LED headlamp and front bumper design with DRL. The supercar also gets a huge splitter flanked by huge air dams. Its lift system can be raised in just four seconds, compared to 10 seconds on the 720S. At the rear, the supercar gets a centrally positioned exhaust pipe and the active rear wing of the car has been repositioned. It also gets a new bumper with bigger intakes at the front of the wheel arches, a new mesh grille and a host of other changes.

The 730S also gets a six mm wider front track and new suspension setup. It features McLaren’s new generation Proactive Chassis Control III technology. According to the company, about 30 percent changes have been made in the components of the new 750S.

interior

Its interior is driver centric. Customers can choose between Napa leather or Techlux package. Customers can also change the color of stitching according to their choice by spending more. The 750S also gets a fully digital instrument cluster with a vertically stacked 5.0-inch infotainment screen. Features like 300-degree camera wireless Apple Car Play and Android Auto and wireless charging are available in the car.

engine

The 750S gets a 4.0-litre twin turbo V8 engine, which generates 740bhp power and 500Nm torque. It gets power to the rear wheel with a 7-speed DCT gearbox. According to the company, this car can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 2.5 seconds and 100-200 kmph in 7.2 seconds. It gets 19-inch front wheels and 20-inch rear wheels.

Competes with the Lamborghini Huracan Evo

This car will compete with the Lamborghini Huracan Evo, in which a 5204 cc BS6 engine is available, which generates power of 640 bhp. Its price starts from Rs.3.21 crores.
