Luxury car brand Maserati plans to offer electric versions of its entire lineup. And its first flagship model will be the GranTurismo Folgore.
According to the company, the electric Folgore will have over 1,200 horsepower, reach a top speed of almost 190 mph and accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in less than three seconds. Following this vehicle, the company will introduce the all-electric Grecale midsize SUV and the Grancabrio GT vehicle. Around 2025, Maserati also plans to add electric versions of its MC20 supercar, Quattroporte sedan and Levante SUV. Unfortunately, Maserati CEO Davide Grasso did not disclose the price of the upcoming new product. However, current traditional models range from $78,000 to over $200,000.
It is worth noting that basically all major automakers, especially luxury car makers, including Maserati, have announced plans that electric vehicles will represent the majority by 2030.
