Maruti’s first electric car eVX will have 2 battery options, know what will be their range? Will be launched in 2024

Maruti Suzuki India Limited had globally introduced the eVX concept at the 2023 Auto Expo in Greater Noida earlier this year. This will also be the first electric car to be launched by the company next year.

Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) had globally unveiled the eVX concept at the 2023 Auto Expo in Greater Noida earlier this year. This will also be the first electric car to be launched by the company next year. The new eVX Concept model was shown a few weeks ago at the Japan Mobility Show 2023 in Tokyo. Now there are reports that Maruti may bring eVX electric with two battery options. Whose range will be up to 400Km and 550Km.

Design of Maruti Suzuki eVX
Talking about the design of Suzuki eVX, it will be quite different as compared to the concept model. It will have horizontal LED light bars covering the entire width at the back. It gets a high-mounted stop lamp, shark fin antenna and a slow antenna. Talking about its exterior, it gets a raked front windshield, squared-off wheels and muscular side cladding hidden inside the warp. It will get 17-inch alloy wheels. Its length can be approximately 4,300 mm, width 1,800 mm and height 1,600 mm.

Maruti Suzuki eVX battery and range
The Suzuki eVX will be available in both single and dual-electric motor setups. It may be reserved for international markets like Europe and Japan. The eVX can be equipped with a 60 kWh Li-ion battery pack, which can provide a driving range of more than 500 km. The photos spotted during testing also show a two-spoke steering wheel and dual-screen layout.

Competition of Maruti Suzuki eVX
Maruti Suzuki eVX will compete with other electric models like the upcoming Mahindra XUV700 based electric SUV, Hyundai Creta based EV, Tata Curve EV, Honda Elevate EV, Kia Seltos EV. The plan is to launch the zero-emission vehicle in 2025 and 2026. It will be built on the 27L architecture derived from Toyota’s 40PL.
