Delhi: Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG has been launched in India. After a long wait, Maruti Suzuki has finally brought the Brezza with factory fitted S CNG technology. Its initial ex-showroom price has been fixed at Rs 9.14 lakh. The Brezza CNG mileage is 25.51 km-kg. Brezza CNG is going to be the biggest tough challenger to popular SUVs like Tata Nexon and Hyundai Venue in the Indian market. Because the demand for CNG SUV has been there for a long time.

The Brezza is expected to be powered by a 1.5-litre inline-four K15B petrol engine that produces 105 hp of power and 138 Nm of peak torque. The CNG-spec Vitara Brezza will feature the same engine, though the power and torque outputs are expected to be lower. Additionally, the Ertiga CNG comes with the same engine, which produces 92 hp of power and 122 Nm of peak torque, which is down by 13 horsepower and 16 Nm over the petrol-powered version.
Due to its lighter weight, the Vitara Brezza CNG should have better fuel economy than the Ertiga CNG. There are no direct competitors for the Brezza CNG, but Tata Motors may introduce the Nexon with a CNG powertrain in the future. However, no official announcement has been made by Tata Motors yet.
