Upcoming Maruti Suzuki: Maruti Suzuki had revealed its plans to bring a range of new SUVs in the coming few years. Maruti Breeza CNG
The Maruti Brezza CNG recently made its public debut at the 2023 Delhi Auto Expo. The model uses a 1.5L K15C petrol engine with a factory-fitted CNG kit. The setup generates a claimed power of 88PS and torque of 121.5Nm. Compared to the regular petrol version, the Brezza CNG is less powerful and torqueier. This model gives a mileage of 27km/kg. The CNG kit can be offered with both manual and automatic gearboxes. It can be made available in 7 variants. There has been no change in its design and interior.
Maruti Fronx
The upcoming compact crossover Maruti Fronx has started reaching the dealerships. Its market launch is likely to happen in the coming weeks. The Fronx will come in Sigma, Delta, Delta+, Zeta and Alpha trims and two engine options – a 1.2L, 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol and a 1.0L, 3-cylinder turbo boosterjet petrol. Both manual and automatic gearboxes are on offer. Some of its special features include Smartplay Pro 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, voice assistance, wireless charger, 6-speaker audio system, colorful MID in the instrument cluster, Suzuki connected car technology, etc.
Sales of the Maruti Jimny 5-door SUV are expected to start in May 2023. The model lineup will be offered in 4 variants in two trims – Zeta and Alpha. All variants will get power from the 1.5L, 4-cylinder, K15B petrol engine with ideal start/stop benefits. The motor generates peak power of 103bhp and torque of 134.2Nm. It can be had with 5-speed manual and 4-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The new Maruti Suzuki SUV comes with Suzuki’s AllGrip Pro 4WD system with a manual transfer case and a low-range gearbox with 2WD high, 4WD-high and 4WD-low modes.
