Maruti Suzuki sold 1.7 lakh cars in March, along with Swift, bumper sale of Dzire and Ertiga

Maruti Suzuki Popular Car Sales In India:
India’s number 1 car company Maruti Suzuki has kept its flag high even in March 2022 and has sold the maximum number of cars while maintaining its dominance. Last month, Maruti Suzuki sold a total of 1,70,395 cars, including 1,37,658 units in the domestic market and 6,241 units as OEM units. After this, the remaining 26,496 units have been exported by Maruti Suzuki. At the same time, if we look at the report related to the sales of Maruti Suzuki cars in the financial year 2021-22, a total of 1,652,653 cars have been sold during this period, with total sales of 1,365,370 in the domestic market as well as 48,907 units of OEM and 238,376 units of export.

Now, if we tell the March 2022 sales report of Maruti Suzuki cars in detail, in March, about 1.38 lakh cars were sold in the domestic market in India, in which there is a total of 15,491 units of cars like Alto and S-Presso in the mini car segment. This was followed by Maruti Baleno in the compact hatchback and sedan segment as well as cars like Swift, DZire, Celerio, Ignis, WagonR and Tour S selling a total of 82,314 units. In its midsize sedan segment, the Ciaz sold a total of 1834 units. In the utility vehicle segment, Maruti Suzuki’s Vitara Brezza, Ertiga, S-Cross and XL6 among other cars sold a total of 25 thousand units in March 2022. Maruti Eeco sold a total of 9221 units in the van segment.

The demand for Maruti Suzuki cars is increasing very fast abroad and in such a situation, 26,496 cars were exported the highest in March 2022. Amidst all this, Maruti Suzuki also sells some units to Toyota India and it is called OEM. A total of 6241 units were sold as OEM units last month. Let us tell you that Maruti Suzuki is offering updated models of many of its cars this year and has launched the new Celerio CNG as well as the 2022 WagonR CNG, DZire CNG and the new Baleno facelift during the last 3 months. The Maruti XL6 facelift is launching this month. However, in the midst of all this, it is important to mention that the sales of Maruti Suzuki cars are declining.
