According to the data released by the company, Maruti Suzuki India has produced a total of 1,68,180 units of vehicles in February 2022, which includes the company’s passenger vehicles as well as light commercial vehicles. The special thing is that this number is four percent more than the production figures of January 2022.
Talking about the mini and compact sub-category segment vehicles, the company produced a total of 1,19,304 vehicles in February 2022. There are many products in this segment of Maruti Suzuki India and the company contributes the most in this segment.
Maruti Suzuki’s portfolio includes cars like Maruti Alto, Wagon-R, Swif, Baleno and Maruti Celerio in this segment. Apart from this, talking about the mid-size sedan segment, the company sells only Maruti Ciaz in the market and the company has produced 1,943 units of this car last month.
On the other hand, in the utility vehicle segment, Maruti Suzuki produces Maruti Ertiga, S-Cross, Vitara Brezza and Maruti XL6 in this segment. Last month, Maruti Suzuki produced a total of 44,536 units of cars in this segment.
Talking about passenger vehicles, Maruti Suzuki produced a total of 1,65,783 units of passenger vehicles in February 2022. Let us tell you that Maruti Suzuki has sold 164,056 units of vehicles in February 2022, while on the other hand the company sold 1,64,469 units of vehicles in February 2021.
Let us tell you that recently Maruti Suzuki has launched a factory-fitted CNG version of its compact-sedan Maruti Dzire. The company has made this car available in VXi and ZXi variants. The company has launched this car at a price of Rs 8.14 lakh (ex-showroom).
At the same time, the price of its ZXi CNG variant has been kept at Rs 8.82 lakh (ex-showroom). It is mated to a 1.2 liter petrol engine and it gives a mileage of 31.12 km/kg. This engine provides power of 89 hp and torque of 113 Newton meter, but with CNG option this engine provides 77 hp and 98.5 Newton meter of torque.
