Maruti Suzuki New Plant In Sonipat: The country’s largest automobile company Maruti Suzuki is going to set up its new manufacturing plant in Sonipat, Haryana. Maruti Suzuki has said that the company will invest Rs 11,000 crore in the first phase of construction of this plant. The company has completed the allotment process of 800 acres of land at IMT Kharkhoda with HSIIDC in Sonipat for setting up the plant.

2.5 lakh vehicles will be made in the first phase
Maruti Suzuki has said in the information given to the stock exchange that by 2025, 2.5 lakh units of vehicles will be produced in this manufacturing plant in the first phase. 11,000 crores will be invested in the first phase. The company has so much land in Sonipat that in future the company can set up more manufacturing plants here. At present, the company has the capacity to produce 22 lakh vehicles annually in Haryana and Gujarat.

Production started from Gurugram plant
The company does not have much land in the existing plants of the company in Gurugram and Manesar. Maruti Suzuki has three main lines which are in Gurugram and Manesar. These plants have the capacity to produce 1.5 million vehicles annually. At the same time, the company also sources vehicles from its parent company Suzuki Motor Corporation’s plant in Gujarat. , The Gurugram plant of Maruti Suzuki was the company’s first plant which was commissioned in 1983. Maruti started production of its car Maruti 800 from Gurugram plant.
