Maruti Suzuki has removed the curtain on its new Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara. It is the sibling of the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder. In the compact SUV segment, it will face direct and tough competition from vehicles like Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, MG Astor as well as Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder. It has been introduced by the company with mild-hybrid and strong hybrid powertrain. It will be the highest mileage SUV in the country.

The new Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara will come with two petrol engines in the Indian market. These include the 1.5 Intelligent Electric Hybrid and the 1.5 K-Series Mild Hybrid (Series Mild Hybrid).

It has a 9.0-inch SmartPlay Studio touchscreen infotainment system, which is found in the recently launched Maruti Suzuki Baleno. It gets features like Head-Up Display (HUD), 360-degree camera, fully digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, and drive modes, along with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
