Talking about Maruti Dzire CNG, it has been made available in VXi and XZi variants. DZire CNG VXi price starts at Rs 8.23 Lakh and XZI price starts at Rs 8.91 Lakh (ex-showroom).
Tata Motors recently launched the most affordable variant of the Tigor CNG, the Tigor XM CNG. It has been launched in the market at an ex-showroom price of Rs 7.40 lakh. The Tigor CNG is also available in XZ and XZ+ variants which are being sold at a price of Rs 7.90 lakh and Rs 8.50 lakh respectively. In terms of price, the Tata Tigor CNG is about Rs 1 lakh cheaper than the Dzire CNG.
In terms of mileage, Maruti cars are known to have the highest mileage in India and the same applies for the company’s CNG cars as well. Maruti claims a mileage of 31.12 km/kg in the CNG Dzire, while the Tata Tigor gives a mileage of 26.49 km/kg. In terms of mileage, the DZire CNG takes the lead here.

Maruti Dzire CNG is powered by 1197 CC Engine. This engine generates power of 76.43 bhp and torque of 98.5 Newton meter. Only a 5-speed manual transmission is available with the engine. Talking about Tata Tigor CNG, it is powered by the engine of 1199 cc. This engine provides 72.4 bhp power and 95 newton meter torque. It has also been given only a 5-speed manual gearbox.
While the three-cylinder petrol engine is available in the Tigor, the four-cylinder unit is available in the DZire. Certainly the engine of Maruti Dzire is more powerful than the Tigor and also gives more mileage per kg of CNG.
In its initial model, the Maruti Dzire CNG VXi comes with features like steel wheels, OVRM mounted turn indicator, electrically adjustable foldable OVRM, Bluetooth enabled infotainment system, steering mounted audio control, rear center armrest and height adjustable driver seat.
On the other hand, talking about Tata Tigor CNG, its base model XM CNG also gets features like steel wheels, OVRM mounted turn indicator, electrically adjustable foldable OVRM, Bluetooth enabled infotainment system, steering mounted audio control and rear center armrest. Apart from this, this model comes with features like front fog lamps and push button start stop button. In terms of features, the Tata Tigor CNG is a step ahead of the Dzire here.
