In India this week, Maruti Suzuki launched CNG variants of its best-selling sedan car Maruti DZire, with Maruti Dzire VXi CNG priced at Rs 8.14 lakh (ex-showroom) and Maruti Dzire VXi CNG priced at Rs 8.82 lakh (ex-showroom). The company claims that the mileage of Maruti Dzire CNG is up to 31.12km/kg. Maruti Suzuki last month launched 3 CNG variants of the WagonR facelift namely LXI S CNG, LXI S-CNG Tour H3 and VXI S-CNG with prices starting at Rs 6.34 lakh (ex-showroom).

Maruti Suzuki launched the all-new Maruti Suzuki Celerio VXi CNG in January last, priced at Rs 6,58,000 (ex-showroom). The company claims that this is India’s highest mileage CNG car, which runs on 1 kg of CNG for 35.60 km. At the same time, talking about the price and mileage of Tata Motors CNG cars, the price of Tata Tiago CNG starts from Rs 6,09,900 (ex-showroom) and goes up to Rs 7,64,900 (ex-showroom). Its mileage is up to 27 kilometers per kg. At the same time, the price of Tata Tigor CNG starts from Rs 7,69,900 (ex-showroom).
