Maruti Alto 800 std and lxi variants discontinued new maruti alto k10 launch-soon

Maruti Alto 800 Std & LXI Variants Discontinued: Currently, Maruti Suzuki sells hatchback cars like Alto, WagonR, Celerio and Swift in India. However, now the company has discontinued three variants of Alto.

Maruti Alto 800 Std & LXI Variants Discontinued But New Maruti Alto K10 Launch Soon: Maruti Suzuki is the king of budget hatchbacks. No one can deny this. Maruti Suzuki has been extremely successful in this segment since the era of Maruti 800 and Zen. Currently, Maruti Suzuki sells hatchback cars like Alto, WagonR, Celerio and Swift in India. However, now the company has discontinued three variants of Alto. These include Std, LXi and LXi CNG variants, which have now been discontinued. The Maruti Suzuki Alto hatchback will now be available in five variants, which include Std (O), LXi (O), LXi (O) CNG, VXi and VXi+. 

With the discontinuation of the standard variant, the starting price of Maruti Suzuki Alto has now gone up to Rs 3.39 lakh (ex-showroom), which goes up to Rs 5.03 lakh (ex-showroom). Its LXI (O) CNG variant is the most expensive. Maruti Suzuki Alto gets an 800cc petrol engine, which generates 47 bhp power and 69 Nm torque. At the same time, the Alto CNG variant generates 40 bhp power and 60 Nm torque. It comes with a five-speed manual transmission. Alto is one of the cars of the first choice for the customers who want to take a cheap and powerful car in mileage.

Maruti will launch new Alto 800 and Alto K10!

According to reports, the carmaker is all set to launch the new generation Alto 800 and the new Alto K10. The Alto K10 is coming back in a new generation avatar. It is internally codenamed Y0K while the Alto 800 is codenamed Y1K. Let us tell you that Maruti used to sell Alto K10 earlier but in 2020 it was discontinued due to low demand.
