Mark Zuckerberg in trouble, Instagram and Facebook may be closed soon, this is the reason

As it is known, these days are not going well for Meta company and now a new problem has arisen. It is worth noting that last year Facebook decided to change the name of its parent company to Meta and since then it has been facing many troubles. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has said that he wants the world to know his company as the Metaverse, not just as Facebook. However, this is not the case and the world is not liking the new name of the company. Facebook has been in many controversies and headlines after being named Meta.

Facebook and Instagram may be closed

For information, let us tell you that Meta has said in a report that if it is not given permission to share the data of European users with other countries, then it may have to stop its services. Meta has said that non-sharing of users’ data affects its services. Actually, let us tell you that Facebook shows advertisements to its users only on the basis of user data.

Parent company Meta has directly stated that it will accept the new terms of 2022, but may have to shut down Facebook and Instagram if data transfer is not allowed.

Meta has told the Securities and Exchange Commission that it will have to discontinue its services to users in Europe until a new framework is put in place for the service as soon as possible.

Whereas, according to EU law, users’ data should not be in Europe, while Meta asks for permission to share users’ data. Zuckerberg wants the data of users in Europe to be stored on US servers as well, but it remains to be seen what happens in this and whether Meta gets permission or not.

Facebook’s daily users fell recently

Let us know that last week the number of daily users fell for the first time in 18 years and due to this Facebook lost about 2 billion dollars. Whereas now platforms like Tik Tok and YouTube have also been giving tough competition to Facebook.
