Mahindra’s cheap SUV can become a trend setter as soon as it comes in the market, will get freedom from petrol and diesel

Mahindra & Mahindra is preparing to launch the new eKUV in the market very soon. Apart from the long range, there is a possibility that the company will launch this car with strong features and at a low price according to the competition. The price of this car can fit in your budget.

New Delhi : After showcasing the 2020 Auto Expo, Mahindra & Mahindra is finally gearing up to launch the new eKUV in India. The company has showcased this car in the last two auto expo, but has not launched yet, due to the range of the car and the already announced prices. Let us tell you that Mahindra has already announced the price of the car, in today’s date it may not be possible to bring the car to the market by giving a strong range and features according to the competition at the same price. In April 2020, Mahindra had said that the ex-showroom price of the eKUV in Delhi would start at Rs. 8.25 lakh.

eKUV to launch this year!

If sources are to be believed, Mahindra Electric is planning to launch the XUV300 in early 2023, so the eKUV could be launched in the third or fourth quarter of 2022. It can also be relaunched under the name E20 as its old model did not perform well in sales. We believe that with a range of around 300 km and an affordable price tag, the company would like to bring this car to most of the customers. The starting price of Mahindra eKUV can be around Rs 10 lakh.

Tough competition already exists

In comparison, Tata Motors has already dominated the market with its electric vehicle portfolio and the company has a market share of over 70 per cent in this segment. In March 2021, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. has launched Mahindra Electric Mobility, a step-down subsidiary of the company. To capture the electric vehicle market, Mahindra has recently planned to invest Rs 3,000 crore which will be spent on last mile mobility and SUV EV platform. Mahindra has also released the teaser of electric cars some time ago and in the next 3-5 years many new EVs of the company will be launched in India.
