Mahindra XUV700 single-handedly weighs heavily on Tata’s Safari and Harrier, learn the game of numbers

New Delhi.
Mahindra XUV700 Outsells Safari Harrier:
In India, SUV cars under 10 lakh rupees are being sold the most, but SUVs of different companies above 10 lakh rupees are also sold a lot. Mahindra & Mahindra and Tata Motors are witnessing a fierce competition in the midsize SUV and fullsize SUV segment. While Mahindra XUV300 lags ahead of Tata Nexon in the compact SUV sales chart, Mahindra XUV700 single-handedly dominates SUVs like Tata Safari and Tata Harrier in the midsize SUV segment. Let us now tell you its reality through statistics.

Mahindra XUV700 in the market
If we look at the sales report of June 2022 itself, then a total of 6,022 units of Mahindra XUV700 SUV were sold. At the same time, only 3015 units were sold of powerful SUVs like Tata Safari and Harrier. Last month, a total of 1985 units of Hyundai Alcazar and 892 units of Jeep Compass were sold. MG Motor India’s popular SUV Hector and Hector Plus together sold 2402 units. In such a situation, Mahindra XUV700 is definitely the winner of this segment and all other SUVs are far behind in sales. You will be surprised to know that about 10,000 units of XUV700 are booked every month. However, the delivery is getting delayed due to semiconductor shortage.
