XUV 700 has become so expensive
Talking about the Mahindra XUV700, its price has increased by up to Rs 78,000. The prices of the petrol variants of Mahindra XUV700 have been increased by up to Rs 71,000 and the prices of the diesel variants by up to Rs 78,000. As per the new price list, the price of Mahindra XUV 700 MT Petrol MX trim has increased from Rs 12.96 lakh to Rs 13.18 lakh.
The XUV 700 MT petrol AX7 variant which was earlier available in January 2022 at a price of Rs 18.63 lakh is now available at a price of Rs 19.21 lakh. AX3 prices have increased from Rs 16.57 lakh to Rs 16.84 lakh in Mahindra XUV700 petrol AT trim, while the prices of the top spec AX7L have been increased from Rs 22.04 lakh to Rs 22.75 lakh.
The price of Mahindra XUV700 diesel variant MT MX trim has increased to Rs 17.58 lakh. In January 2022, the price of this variant was Rs 17.29. The XUV700 AX7L is now priced at Rs 21.66 lakh, as against Rs 21.01 lakh earlier. The price of Mahindra XUV700 diesel AT variant AX3 now goes up from Rs 17.58 Lakh to Rs 24.50 for the top variant AX7L AWD.
The company has attributed the increase in prices to the continuous increase in the prices of raw materials like steel, aluminium, palladium. The company said that the prices have been increased to offset the impact of rising cost. The company is working with its sales team and dealer network to ensure that the new prices are appropriately communicated to its customers.
Mahindra’s car sales increased
Mahindra has registered a tremendous growth of 35 percent in the sales of its passenger vehicles in the last month. The company sold 27,380 vehicles in March 2022, while the passenger vehicle segment (UVs, Cars and Vans) registered sales of 27,603 vehicles. During this period 3,160 vehicles were exported from India. In the commercial vehicle segment, Mahindra sold 19,837 vehicles in March 2022, registering a growth of 16%.
Mahindra & Mahindra may launch its much-awaited electric SUV eKUV100 in India by the end of this year. According to the information, the company will showcase the eKUV100 at the Auto Expo to be held this year, after which it will be launched in the market. Mahindra has already revealed the price of the eKUV100.
